You’ve driven down Melrose Avenue and have seen all of the Insta-Worthy Walls and now you’re hungry and it’s time for brunch, or lunch or even dinner. But where do you go? I mean there’s a million places to try on Melrose alone and whether you want to brave the parking craziness in the area or drive around Los Angeles, these are some of my favorite restaurant suggestions for you.
1. Blu Jam Cafe
Blu Jam Cafe is known in Los Angeles as one of the best brunch spots. They’re known for their Crunchy French Toast and jazz type vibes.

2. The Waffle
The Waffle is a modern trendy restaurant. I absolutely loved their Strawberry Cheesecake waffle and their cool outdoor vibes.

3. The Hart & The Hunter
The Hart & The Hunter offers a classic dining experience with the cutest outdoor seating area. The butter biscuits and honey butter are excellent.

4. Sweet Chicks
Sweet Chicks has recently opened up their infamous chicken and waffles hot spot in LA.

“Lemonade is a modern marketplace serving a colorful bounty of seasonal food and refreshment in a bright cafeteria setting.” Just to add, the Blood Orange lemonade is fantastic!

2. Roscoes Chicken and Waffles
I had to check off Roscoes Chicken and Waffles on my bucket list. This LA staple offers an “Obama Special” which I of course ordered.

Katana is popular amongst celebrities and when I went I knew exactly why. You climb stairs to a Japanese inspired small plate heaven. They feature an array of robata style skewers, sushi and other special dishes.

4. Hollywood Thai
Hollywood Thai offers sophisticated thai food in the heart of Thai Town. The Pad See Ew is delicious.
