I took a quick trip to Boston aka Bean Town and while I didn’t have any baked beans, (thinking back I wish I did because I actually enjoy baked beans) I did eat some great food and walked along the Seaport. If you plan to take a quick trip to Boston, these are a few places to stop along the way.

Right after I landed, I opened my Hotel Tonight App as I do so often and booked my Boston Hotel. Tucked away in Boston’s South End is a new hotel called AC Hotel Boston Downtown. It was a cozy hotel, perfect for the quick traveler like myself who just needed a nice room to stay in while I explored Boston. Where to Eat

Mike & Patty’s

If you wake up and want a quick breakfast sandwich, Mike & Patty’s is your place to go. I ordered the “Fancy,” two fried eggs, bacon, cheddar cheese, avocado, red onions and house mayo on toasted Iggy’s multigrain. I sat in a small little garden close-by and enjoyed my breakfast sandwich.

The Daily Catch

My favorite part of my trip to Boston was eating at the Daily Catch Seaport. This location is unfortunately closed now but they do have two other locations open in Boston. The Daily Catch brand is known for it’s homemade black linguine with squid ink, black pasta served in the pan. A friend of mine told me I should try it so I of course wanted to make my experience in Boston unique and indulge in something new. I ordered the alfredo black pasta with calamari. I’m not exaggerating when I say it was absolutely amazing. It was probably one of my most memorable meals of all my travel. I concluded my meal with two freshly made cannoli’s. Incredible!

Things to Do

I only spent about 36 hours in Boston so I didn’t explore much. But I did sit at the seaport for hours and relaxed, got some work done, took in the beautiful June air and breeze. Have you been to Boston? If so, where should i visit next time I travel there?
