It’s funny how life comes full circle sometimes. I honestly thought people got tired of reading about restaurants and to be honest, my life changed and I wasn’t (and still aren’t) dining out as much. But with racial injustice rearing it’s ugly head again and the negative economic impact Covid-19 has had on businesses, the country has pivoted their focus to supporting black owned businesses. Now supporting black owned restaurants is more important than ever. I’ve always supported black owned businesses, restaurants in particuluar, some of my favorites are posted on my 10 Soul Food/Carribean Hidden Gems list. But here is a helpful list of black owned restaurants that have outdoor seating and dessert shops that you can support. (I will continue to update this list so continue to come back!)
