The New York International Auto Show has returned to the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. This annual show brings all of the car, motorcycle and automobile fanatics from all over the world to one location. For anyone who has a special love of cars, this is the candy store for you!
This event runs from April 18 to April 27 so luckily you still have time. It’s a great event for couples, families and even kids. There are three levels of cars, activities and vendors open to the public. Mercedes Benz, Ford, Bugatti, Porsche, Acura, Infiniti and
Bentley are just some of the cars that you will see at this event. They also display concept cars, Car of the Year and just revealed cars to the public at this event.
One of the activities I found enjoyable was the “BMW i3 Experience.” At this experience you have the opportunity to ride in a electric BMW made of all recycled materials. You ride three laps around the track driven by a trained professional who will demonstrate some of the features and benefits of the high tech vehicle.
What’s your dream car? Or what is the car that you so badly want to see yourself driving? Do you have it in mind? Well I’m sure male or female we all have that one “dream” car that we picture ourselves in. Well, the Auto Show is the perfect place to check out your dream car, possibly sit in it and take pictures or inquire about it from the well knowledged dealer representatives that are on site. I sat in the car that I want. I’m not necessarily a car fanatic but hey a girl still likes nice things.
If you plan to attend this event I suggest you bring a camera or camera phone and wear sneakers. You will be walking around a lot and you will want to take pictures. If you’ve been to the auto show, tell me what you thought about it in the comments below. I also would love to see your pictures on Instagram. Tag me at @simplypamarie or hashtag #simplypamarie.
